Achil is recruiting a Business Developer for its client, a SaaS provider for the renewable energy sector based in Paris (75).

Our client is a technology company that provides software solutions to operators of renewable energy power plants, such as wind turbines and solar panels.

The company is now looking to accelerate its international growth, develop new digitalization solutions, and advance its technological capabilities.

Le poste

As a Business Development Representative (m/f/x), you will actively and with great initiative support a growing team in bringing a software solution to the international market. In this role, you will report directly to Louis, Sales Manager for Western Europe.

As an expert in the German language and business culture, your personal mission will be to further develop the sales activities in Germany, with all sales channels open to you. Your goal will be to fill an acquisition pipeline with a maximum of high-quality leads and to convince German plant operators and professionals in the wind and solar industries of the relevance of your software solutions.

Your tasks include:

  • Identifying relevant contact persons within potential customer companies and convincing them about the relevance of your software solutions

  • Organizing video conferences to present your software solutions

  • Leading sales conversations: After a short training period, during which you will initially follow sales conversations in training, you will soon be allowed and expected to lead your own sales conversations

  • Continuously optimizing and helping to shape the sales processes

  • Working closely with the communication team to develop and optimize the inbound channels with your know-how and observations

  • Representing the company and acquiring sales leads at international trade fairs, such as WindEnergy Hamburg, Husum Wind, and Intersolar Munich

As you can see, your range of tasks is very diverse – but also highly flexible!

Profil recherché

You have a degree in economics (or a similar qualification). German is your native language (or you are completely fluent) and you speak and write English at a business-fluent level.

You already live in Paris, or you are willing to move to Paris after being hired.

You bring initial experience (≤ 2 years) in industrial B2B sales.

Identifying and convincing decision-makers is your passion. You also excel in supporting and maintaining loyalty among existing accounts, assisting them in discovering our range of software solutions.

You love challenges, are a creative and sociable person, and are eager to contribute and take initiative.
